Blackie is an old Louisiana fisherman who talks about the Mystery of 11:11. His best friend Sam was born on 11-11 and he died on 11-11. Sam's son has traveled down to this eerie Louisiana bayou with his family to try and figure out this mystery which he thinks will answer his questions to the meaning of life. Blackie warns him not to go out on that bayou and play with these numbers and is worried about the safety of Sam Jr. and his family.

Blackie says that this old bayou has a lot of stories to tell. Some of them will keep you up at night. This is no place for city folk like Sam Jr. and his family. Every night it rains down on the bayou and it don't play no games. A hurricane nearly took Blackie's son Tommy who hasn't been the same since.
BLACKIE ON THE BAYOU PART 3
Maybe there's more to 11-11 than most people realize. Blackie's wife Rose believes that these numbers are a sign from God...a wake up call. Blackie wonders about the Midwayers who are spiritual beings half way between angels and humans. He's not sure if they really exist but his wife insists they are real. Blackie hopes that the world is not coming to an end because he has big plans for 12-12-12.

The world didn't end on 11-11-11 but as Blackie puts it - "It was a wake up call." Sam's son went to hell that night...obsessed with the number 11. And something strange happened to Blackie's son Tommy that nobody will ever forget. The mystery of 11:11 may still be a mystery to many people but Blackie is looking forward to 12-12-12 as he makes the promise - "Just you wait and see."
